Maui Wowie (not Maui Waui) is a classic sativa whose tropical flavors and stress-relieving qualities will float you straight to the shores of Hawaii, where this strain was originally born and raised.  It's uplifting qualities may allow you to tap into it's tribal power.  Maui Wowie artist: Jesse Hernandez, has created an incredible body of work that taps in to his own tribal power with his unforgettable #UrbanAztec style.

Hernandez’s art combines traditional indigenous styles and themes with an urban street sensibility. His work utilizes bold line work, sharp colors, and dynamic imagery across many different mediums, most widely known for his custom painted toys, illustration, and canvas work. His style also draws upon his animation background.

Jesse's artwork has been featured in many books and magazines such as Maxim, YRB, Giant Robot, Clutter, Playtimes, Dot Dot Dash, Great new Characters, Flux, and has participated in art shows all around the world. He currently has toys out with Kaching Brands, and Toyqube, and future releases with Kid Robot, Upper Deck, Minigods, and Super Rad Toys.

Since its beginnings in the island’s volcanic soil way back in the 1970's, Maui Wowie has spread across the world to bless us with its sweet pineapple flavors and high-energy euphoria.

Maui Wowie has a very subtle, fruity aroma. It is not overpowering but it has that pleasant, bright, and tropical feel. The strain smells like mango with a hint of lime and pine, all sweet, tangy notes with a slightly sour undertone.  This strain's lightweight sativa effects allow your mind to drift away to creative escapes, while Maui Wowie’s motivating, active effects may be all you need to get outside and enjoy the sun.

This tall, lanky strain is best suited for cultivation in warm, tropical climates that mirror its homeland, but a bright environment and nutrient-rich soil are typically adequate for indoor growth.

Califari has always considered it a classic of all time before Dave Chapelle helped make it even more famous in Half Baked!
